so... by doing this whole personal challenge thing- i've become more open and try to really pay attention to the affirmations or little hellos God might be sending my way... i don't want to make somethings out of nothings and/or i don't know if i'm being more alert so that i'll have something to write about or if the Lord is really just putting things in plain sight for me, but i'm liking it- it's a constant reminder that God is here, and He's a present force in our world on a day to day basis.
during an interview today... i was able to spend some talking to a girl who was literally on fire for the Lord and her passion for working with kids and showing them how much joy can be experienced by living a life fully devoted to God was really encouraging and inspiring. she mentioned a passage in Isaiah about not looking to right or the left, but staying on the path He's laid out for us. It was so good just be reminded of how worries, stress, friendships, and many other things can lead us astray from His plan for us. so.. yeah- i wouldn't say i learned today but i was definitely reminded of a truth i struggle with.
