so... today/this week i've really been hit with the fact that life with the Lord should be and is a totally joyful experience that we as believers have been blessed with and get to enjoy.
the definition of joy is:
the emotion of great delight or happiness caused by something exceptionally good or satisfying; keen pleasure; elation
pretty much sums it up huh? God is good, and the fact that each of us gets to experience joy in a uniquely designed way is amazing... for example today i've enjoyed joy by: a chicken salad sandwhich, praying for the campfire area and the moments that will be experienced there, overhearing ron and connie both use the phrase "wuz-up", the sun-setting and shooting it's sunbeams through the mountain trees, having a little cuddle time with boone- she's no izzy but so great at the same time, and getting to hang out with an old friend.
every minute of the day is just another opportunity to experience the joy God has given us- thanks Dude... you made my day literally.
