the mountains don't quite look as green at the moment, but on certain mornings they can show the purest white tops due to snow. that's right, no longer do i live in the land of cotton fields, bbq sandwiches, and southern drawls (otherwise known as mississippi) but i have finally made the move to the blue ridge mountains of north carolina. i remember being 9 years old and my mom introducing me to this amazingly beautiful part of the country and saying to her, "momma, i'm gonna live here one day. it just feels like home." and now i'm 24 years old, finally done with school, and working for ridgecrest summer camps, the amazing organization that brought me here in the first place. so, for sure dreams of a nine year old red-headed baby girl have come true... now where to go from here...
